James Kent, President and CEO

James Kent, President and CEO, has managed over 180 merger, acquisition or divestiture transactions during the past 28 years. Some of these transactions exceeded $100 million in value. Prior to his M&A advisory work, Mr. Kent was a CEO/General Manager for a subsidiary of Stauffer Chemical Co. and Green Giant Co. Having been in the food and agribusiness sectors for over 40 years, his industry relationships are extensive. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University.

 

Sean Dingeldein, Vice President

Sean Dingeldein, Vice President, has been with the company since 1997 and has over 12 years of experience valuing and marketing closely held companies and divisions of multinational corporations. In addition to analyzing and presenting businesses to potential investors or acquirers, he also assists owners in structuring transactions that maximize shareholder value. Prior to his current M&A advisory role, Mr. Dingeldein was an investment banker for Firstar Corporation where he worked on private debt placements and interest risk management products. He has a Master’s Degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

 

Abby Trapp, Executive Assistant

Abby Trapp, Executive Assistant, joined the company soon after graduating St. Norbert College with her Bachelor of Arts Degree. As Abby works toward her Master’s Degree in International Business from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, she is responsible for the company’s market research, client management, corporate marketing, and company financials. She assists the principals in all aspects of the merger, acquisition, and divestiture process.

 

Kristi Kent, Administrative Assistant

Kristi Kent, Administrative Assistant, is responsible for all day-to-day office activities. She constantly monitors and maintains the database of over 22,000 industry executives, oversees the account receivables and payables, and manages all office activities. Kristi holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point.
