James Kent,
President and CEO, has managed hundreds of merger, acquisition
or divestiture transactions during the past 25 years.
Some of these transactions exceeded $100 million in value.
Mr. Kent has been in the agribusiness and food industries
for over 35 years, and his industry relationships are
extensive. As a widely known and respected industry expert,
his strategic vision of these industries is highly regarded
and he is sought out for executive conference speaking
engagements and boards of directors presentations. Prior
to his investment banking career, Mr. Kent was a CEO/General
Manager for a subsidiary of Stauffer Chemical Co. and
Green Giant Co. He is an instrument-rated pilot. Mr. Kent
holds a B.S. degree in Agribusiness Management from Southern
Illinois University.
