Minocqua, Wisconsin based investment banking firm that specializes in managing corporate merger, acquisition and divestiture transactions seeks a part-time business analyst. Kent Group Inc.’s core business is managing the divestiture of corporations focused on the agribusiness, food and related industries. The firm’s principals have managed over 150 transactions throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada and Europe during the past 22 years. Under limited supervision, performs comprehensive evaluation of client companies and performs in depth financial analysis, valuation, competitive position, operations review and due diligence. Business analyst will condense all data and prepare an offering memorandum that professionally presents client companies. The offering memorandum will emulate a very well prepared business plan. • Lead role in preparing client companies’ offering memorandums. • Develop complex, dynamic financial models which enables valuation analysis, merger consequences, debt restructuring and capital raising impact. • Extensive company and industry analyses. • Manage and execute due diligence for clients prior to transaction activation. • Research and analyze comparable transactions. • Assist client company management team in preparing Power Point presentation. • Participating in firm marketing/business development efforts including the preparation of pitch books. • Prior business analysis experience. • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related fields • Experience and strengths in accounting, financial modeling and analysis, company evaluation and valuation, business plan development, market/industry research and competitive analysis. • Displays superior self motivation, attention to detail, commitment, maturity and creativity in dealing with diverse assignments. • Knowledge of the principals of strategic business decision marketing. • Strong client interaction skills. • High-end computer skills. • Ability to create, compose and edit written materials. • Candidate does not need to be located on-site in the Minocqua office.
